ImageElements Photo Suite – Tool to Edit Your Images
Review by on
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words and for good reason. You show someone a picture and it could save you having to explain something in detail. A picture could also be worth a few gasps of amazement – like for example when you show someone a picture you edited to make it look uber-cool.

There are numerous photo editing applications out there. Out of all these applications I would like to draw your attention to ImageElements Photo Suite. Part of the Lincoln Beach Software family of tools, this application allows you to manipulate and add great effects to any photo in your collection.

But first, the technical bits. The application weighs in at close to 10MB, so if you have a lousy internet connection the download will take a while to complete. This should not be a problem if you have a high-speed internet connection. Once downloaded onto your system, it is incredibly simple to install the application. Just launch the setup wizard and after only three clicks ImageElements Photo Suite is ready to be used.

What can you do with ImageElements Photo Suite? Here’s the lowdown on the functionality this Lincoln Beach Software-developed application provides:
- Crop an image
- Resize an image
- Flip an image horizontally or vertically
- Rotate an image clockwise or counterclockwise
- Remove red eye effect
- Adjust the image’s colors
- add an effect to the image: bump map, lens, wave, morphing filters, rotate, and more.

The user interface is quite simple. There are the regular File, Edit, Image, Tools and Help Menus in the upper left hand corner of the screen. And a bunch of colored buttons underneath that performs various tasks, from the banal Save as to flipping the image and applying various effects to the image.

Pros
  • Simple interface
  • Numerous photo editing options, effects, filters
  • Works with all Windows versions

Cons
  • Trial version is limited to 25 uses
  • Nag screen
  • Watermark on output image
